Traffic wear on stone floors
Waxy or soapy buildup from the wrong products

Our Process
How we approach stone floor & countertop cleaning and polishing.
Identify the stone & condition
Marble, travertine, limestone, and granite each behave differently. We identify the stone and assess etching, wear, and buildup.
Specialized cleaning
Stone-specific chemistry removes soil and old product buildup without damaging the surface.
Hone, polish, or restore as needed
Dull spots and etching often respond to honing and polishing; deeper wear may call for fuller restoration. We recommend only what your stone needs.
Seal & protect
An appropriate sealer helps the stone resist staining and makes ongoing care easier.

Book This ServiceCommon Questions
Stone Floor & Countertop Cleaning and Polishing FAQ.
Can etching on marble be fixed?
Often, yes. Etch marks are damage to the finish, not the stone — honing and polishing can restore the surface, though results depend on depth and severity.
Why can’t I use regular cleaners on natural stone?
Many household cleaners are acidic or abrasive. On calcium-based stone like marble and limestone, acid dulls the finish and leaves etch spots. We use chemistry designed for the stone we’re cleaning.
How often should stone be sealed?
It depends on the stone type and use. Counters and showers usually need attention sooner than floors. We test and tell you where yours stands.
Polished or honed finish — which should I choose?
Polished stone is glossy and reflective; honed is soft and matte and hides etching better in busy kitchens. It’s a look-and-lifestyle choice — we’ll walk you through it.
